Glade Creek Volunteer Fire Department

Whether you're paid or a volunteer fire fighter, training is essential.

Each member of Glade Creek Fire & Rescue undergo rigorous training.  On average, each member has 56 hours per year with some over 100 hours.  Most of that training includes smokehouse, truck/pump, vehicle eradication, crash scene rescue, control burns, LP gas, chain saw, and much more.

With that training, trucks and hoses are recertified each year according to guidelines set by the State of North Carolina.
