Glade Creek Volunteer Fire Department

HomeOur Mission statement is to provide a large range of programs and services designed to protect lives and property to the citizens of Northeastern Alleghany County which include the communities of Ennice, Glade Creek, Edmonds, Mt. View and many more.

We have a dedicated staff on-duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in times of a crisis.

Also, we provide mutual aide to various other agencies including Galax, Sparta, Cherry Lane, and Skull Camp fire departments and the North Carolina Forestry Service.

At Glade Creek Fire & Rescue, we pride ourselves on the accomplishments of those who came before us, and strive to provide the same quality of community service and protection that our founders did in 1975.
